Plot
Kuyili (Radhika Sarathkumar) is an innocent girl living in the village. She falls in love with the local boatman Veerasamy (Vijay Kumar). The reason behind Rangappan's opposition is his hatred towards Veerasamy and his family. Rangappan had a conflict with Veerasamy's father, Chakravarthy (Vignesh), years ago. That enmity carries forward to the present day and Rangappan does not want his daughter to marry into their family.

Despite this, Kuyili and Veerasamy get married in secret with the help of their close friends. Their love is put to test when their secret is revealed and Rangappan comes to know about their marriage. He is furious and separates the couple. The rest of the movie follows the struggles of Veerasamy and his fight to get his wife back. He faces opposition from the villagers who do not want him to reunite with Kuyili.
